A Good-bye to Ralph Tebbe

  • 4 albums
  • Family, friends, local Musicians and the Biker Community came together at the Smoking Beaver to say good-bye Sunday to Ralph Tebbe and celebrate his life. Ralph left us on August 5th, 2010 of a fatal heart attack.

Ralph was the Lead Guitarist for one of Jacksonville's best country rock bands, Clint McFarland and Black Creek Ri'zin.
An outpouring of support came from Ralph's friends and the Biker Community to help the family lay Ralph to rest and cope with the expense of the funeral. Musicians from several other groups took the stage to honor and celebrate his life. After a heartfelt solo performance by Clint McFarland, he delivered a eulogy for Ralph and thanked everyone, "I cannot believe the support the community has given us in this time of grief, I love you all, each and everyone of you. You come out to hear us play week after week and to a local group like us, you are not fans, you are our friends and our family."

At the end of the day the owners of the Smoking Beaver, Mike and Jen Wewer, donated all the days receipts to help.

So he declared himself an NFL prospect, brought along a documentary filmmaking crew and set out on a seemingly impossible quest. Tetlakʼs film is a lighthearted peek into the serious business of professional athletics and features appearances by DOcho Cinco, Joe Flacco, Doug Flutie, Snoop Dogg and P Diddy!
